Summary
An approximate predicting method was presented in the paper. In this way, the overall mass transfer coefficient was easily derived using the rectification characteristic that was determined by the dimension and geometry of rectification packing. The calculation results showed good agreement with the experimental data, regardless of kinds of rectification packing.
