Performance comparison of cold storage showcases using refrigerants R416A, R12 and R134a.

Summary
Tests were performed in an environmental chamber of 30 °C temperature and 75% relative humidity. The test results reveal that the power consumption is comparable for retrofit R416A to R134a system while the power consumption may decrease up to 20% when retrofitting to the R12 system.
