THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES THE TECHNOLOGIES AND PERFORMANCE OF A NEW SOLAR-ASSISTED HEAT PUMP SYSTEM FOR HEATING AND COOLING. R22 EVAPORATES IN THE OUTDOOR PANELS, ABSORBING HEAT FROM THE SUN OR THE ATMOSPHERE IN THE HEATING CYCLE. IN THE COOLING CYCLE, THE SAME PANELS WORK AS CONDENSERS TO RADIATE HEAT DURING THE NIGHT, MAKING ICE IN THE THERMAL STORAGE TANK.
