Performance of a forced convection coil in the cooling status, using as working fluid water.

Summary

The utilization of low temperature water for heating, and the use of the same device during the cooling period demands, call for the increase of forced convection coils (fan coil units) use. Their quality control, beyond the approved used makings, assigns measurements of their performance for the heating as well as the cooling status. The work presents a simulation of these kind of devices, using for the appropriate calculations internationally approved relations of heat transfer, as well as the standard ARI 410.
