Summary
The thermal behaviour of a room equipped with ventilated walls and subject to external temperature oscillations is analyzed. Every possible ventilation scheme, in the open system formed by the ventilated wall and the room, is considered. Particular attention is devoted to three ventilation schemes previously found to be preferable from the energy point of view under steady-state conditions.
