Summary
There is great interest in developing and exploring the potential of ice slurries. One application of special interest is to use ice slurries as secondary fluids in indirect systems. Another important application where ice slurries have unique features is for thermal energy (or "cold") storage. Systems with ice slurries must, however, compete with other alternatives. Some comparisons with competing systems will be discussed.
