PHASE EQUILIBRIA AT LOW TEMPERATURE: NEW APPARATUS.

EQUILIBRES DE PHASE A BASSE TEMPERATURE : NOUVEL APPAREILLAGE.

Author(s) : RICHECOEUR A.

Summary

THERMODYNAMIC MODELS ARE USED FOR SIMULATION OF THE PETROLEUM PRODUCTS PROPERTIES IN CONDITIONS OF TRANSPORT, PROCESSING AND STORAGE. THE PARAMETERS ADJUSTMENT OF SUCH MODELS, NON PREDICTIVE, NEEDS EXPERIMENTAL DATA OF PHASE EQUILIBRIA. AN APPARATUS IS PRESENTED, REALIZED WITHIN A PROCESS FOR NATURAL GAS TREATMENT AT LOW TEMPERATURE, RELIABLE FOR MEASUREMENTS OF MULTIPHASE MULTICOMPONENT EQUILIBRIA BETWEEN 173 AND 293 K AND UP TO 10 MEGAPASCALS. A NEW IN-LINE SAMPLING VALVE HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO ALLOW CHROMATOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS OF LIQUIDS WITH HIGH BOILING COMPONENTS.
