Summary

Over 14 days of storage, average ascorbic content was highest with potassium permanganate treatment (65.02 milligrammes/100 grammes fruit pulp, compared with 64.79 mg/100 g in untreated fruits). The highest organoleptic ratings were obtained with kinetin + captan and GA3 + captan. Fruit firmness and specific gravity were not significantly affected by treatments.
