Summary
States that seasonal storage of cooling energy is used for space and product cooling. Considerable savings on first costs and electricity consumption are possible. The installed capacity of refrigeration installations can be minimised, and in some cases can be dispensed with. Refers to positive experience gained in Sweden and Canada. States that although the climate in the Netherlands is more moderate, this type of cooling is attractive here too.
