Summary
TTIs are small, inexpensive labels stuck onto the packaging of a food product, making it possible to visualize the freshness of the food in question. The label changes colour as a function of duration and the temperature and thus gives information on the shelf life. This study was aimed at defining the product life stage during which the TTIs must be first stuck onto the packaging and then activated.
