A POSTHARVEST INOCULATION TECHNIQUE HAS BEEN DEVELOPED FOR < FEMMINELLO > LEMONS. 5 CONTROL TRIALS AGAINST PHYTOPHTHORA CITROPHTHORA WERE CARRIED OUT BY USING PHOSETHYL A1, METALAXIL+MANCOZEB, MANCOZEB, CAPTAFOL, CYMOXANIL+FOLPET AND BENALAXYL+FOLPET AT DIFFERENT CONCENTRATIONS. PHOSETHYL A1 AND METALAXYL+MANCOZEB PROVED TO BE EFFECTIVE EVEN AT CONCENTRATIONS AS LOW AS 0.05 AND 0.01%, RESPECTIVELY. CYMOXANIL+FOLPET AND BENALAXYL+FOLPET WERE LESS EFFECTIVE. CAPTAFOL GAVE UNSATISFACTORY RESULTS.
