Summary
Data from quality evaluations of 84 strawberry cultivars carried out at Cesenate between 1995 and 2000 are presented. Each cultivar was evaluated for 2 consecutive years. The parameters evaluated were: fruit weight, firmness, soluble solids, acidity, colour change and, after 4 days of storage at 4 °C, percentage of healthy, rotten, bruised fruits, and those with shrivelled calyces, and weight losses during the storage period.
