THESE CORRESPONDING STATES PRINCIPLE GENERALIZATION TECHNIQUES PROVIDE THE FLUID FLOW SYSTEM ENGINEER AND THE HEAT EXCHANGER DESIGNER WITH AN ADDITIONAL TOOL THAT IS SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE, AND ABOVE ALL, MORE RELIABLE, PARTICULARLY IN EVAPORATOR AND CONDENSER DESIGN PRACTICE, THAN CURRENT CONVENTIONAL SEMIEMPIRICAL CORRELATIONS.
