Prediction of heat transfer in decaying swirl flow in an annulus.

Summary
The paper presents an analytical study on decaying swirl flow in an annulus. The results indicate that the swirl generator which determines the initial condition function influences the augmentation of heat transfer at either of the annulus boundaries. The prediction of heat transfer compares well with the experimental observations.
