Summary

PRIOR TO 1986, MUCH USEFUL PROCEDURES EXISTED DESCRIBING THE HANDLING OF AMMONIA SPILLS AND LEAKS IN THE CONFINES OF REFRIGERATED SPACE. TWO BASIC PROBLEMS EXISTED: 1) THE NEED FOR UNIFICATION AND CLASSIFICATION OF SELECTED INFORMATION FROM A NUMBER OF SOURCES ; AND 2) EXISTING PROCEDURES AND INFORMATION WERE LARGELY IN PRINTED FORM ONLY AND PRESENTED IN ESOTERIC TERMS WHICH LIMITED THE NUMBER OF PERSONNEL QUALIFIED TO MAKE DIRECT USE OF THEM. THE PROJECT INVOLVED ORGANIZING THE COOPERATIVE EFFORT OF THE SOURCES OF SOUND TECHNICAL INFORMATION, SCREENING SELECTED INFORMATION ANDDEVELOPING IT INTO A TV PRESENTATION.
