Summary

THE VERY FAST DEVELOPMENT OF MICRO-ELECTRONICS IS ALSO NOTICEABLE IN THE SYSTEMS AROUND THE REFRIGERATION COMPRESSOR. THE CONVENTIONAL PRESSURE SAFETIES, PRESSURE GAUGES, THERMOMETERS, ETC ARE MORE AND MORE REPLACED BY ELECTRONIC DEVICES IN COMBINATION WITH A CHANGEOVER FROM RELAY TO THE MICRO-PROCESSOR. RESULT IS THE POSSIBILITY TO OBTAIN VERY FAST A LOT OF DATA AND THE POSSIBILITY TO PRESCRIBE MORE COMPLEX SAFETY MEASURES FOR COMPRESSOR FAILURE PREVENTION. THE FLEXIBILITY IN SOFTWARE ALLOWS THE USE OF STANDARD HARDWARE IN MANY SPECIAL APPLICATIONS. BY THE USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES IS A MORE INTENSIVE COMMUNICATION WITH A CENTRAL COMPUTER SYSTEM POSSIBLE.
