THE ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF NEW CHILLING AND FREEZING TECHNOLOGIES FOR COTTAGE CHEESE ON THE M1-OLK LINE IS STUDIED. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGES OF THESE TECHNOLOGIES ARE SHOWN (COMPARED TO THOSE USED IN INDUSTRY), ON THE ECONOMIC LEVEL: IMPROVEMENT OF STORAGE LIFE, DECREASE IN WASTE OF PRODUCT, EASIER USE AND LOW COST PACKAGING EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS, DECREASE IN LABOUR COSTS.
