THE FRENCH PRODUCTION OF FROZEN FOODS INCREASED BY 23.4% BETWEEN 1981 AND 1982, AS REPORTED IN A TABLE ALSO SHOWING 13.3% DECREASE IN IMPORTS, 16.7% INCREASE IN EXPORTS AND 12% INCREASE IN APPARENT MARKET. THIS TABLE IS SUPPLEMENTED WITH THE TONNAGES OF FROZEN FOODS (DIRECT CONSUMPTION OR PROCESSING) AND THE VOLUME OF ICE CREAM, WITH AN APPARENT MARKET OF MORE THAN 200 MILLION LITRES (10.3% INCREASE IN NATIONAL PRODUCTION).
