PROGRESS TOWARDS ENERGY EFFICIENT CONTROL SYSTEMS THAT MINIMIZE TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATIONS.

Author(s) : WONG A. K. H., JAMES R. W.

Summary

THE PROGRESS CONCERNING ADVANCED CONTROL SYSTEMS WAS STUDIED IN ORDER TO REDUCE TRANSIENT TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS DUE TO THE RECIPROCAL ACTION OF REFRIGERATION PLANT AND ITS CAPACITY CONTROL. THERE IS A CONFLICT BETWEEN THE EFFICIENCY OF ENERGY USAGE AND ACCURATE TEMPERATURE CONTROL. RESEARCH IN REFRIGERATION IS RATHER LIMITED, BUT, IN CONTRAST, MUCH MORE RESEARCH HAS BEEN MADE ON HEAT PUMPS, SOME OF WHICH ARE USED IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTERIZED MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS IS ALSOSTUDIED AND SEVERAL DOMAINS OF FUTURE RESEARCH HAVE BEEN ESTABLISHED.
