Summary
The author presents a series of compact liquid chillers with propylene as the refrigerant. They are intended for small and medium-sized supermarkets, supplementing the existing line of environmentally acceptable ammonia plants for larger supermarkets. Fifteen supermarkets have already been equipped with propylene refrigeration systems within the last 18 months.
