Summary
Sainsbury's 'Millennium Store' at Greenwich has been designed to reduce energy use by up to 50% compared to its traditionally build equivalent. With refrigeration in a supermarket accounting for almost half the energy consumption, system design obviously has a big part to play in achieving this goal.
