Author(s) : POULALLION P. L., DEABREU-MUREIRA L. A., DOMINGUEZ J. L. R.
Summary
The authors detail the history of a project to transport gas extracted from the Urucu field to the towns of Manaus and Porto Velho a distance of 800 km and located in the eastern region of Brasil. The best cost-effectiveness was obtained by liquefying the natural gas and transporting it on rivers, thus allowing delivery to the cities located along the way.
