THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES THE CONVENTIONAL PURIFYING PROCEDURES AND GIVES THERESULTS OF THE PURIFYING OF THAWING WATER BY ULTRAFILTRATION ON TUBULAR ULTRAFILTERS, WITH CELLULOSE ACETATE MEMBRANES. THE TEST PROCEDURE IS DESCRIBED. THE TEST RESULTS SUGGEST TO RECOMMEND THE PURIFYING SYSTEM OPERATING UNDER A PRESSURE OF 0.25 MPASCAL, WITH A FLOW RATE OF 5.0 METRES/SEC. R.R.
