THE AUTHORS PRESENT NEW DATA ON THE VAPOR PRESSURE AND GAS-PHASE PVT SURFACE PROPERTIES OF R141B (1.1-DICHLORO-1-FLUOROETHANE), IN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE 333-393 K. THESE RESULTS, COMBINED WITH SPEED OF SOUND DATA AT LOWER TEMPERATURES, ARE REPRESENTED ANALYTICALLY. THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF THE GAS PHASE AND THE SATURATED LIQUID ARE CALCULATED. AN ESTIMATE IS GIVEN FOR THE CRITICAL PRESSURE.
