Summary

The modernization of some refrigerating equipment of a bar-restaurant serving 300 to 700 meals a day uses R134a for a storage cabinet (previously working with R12), a made to measure refrigerating unit and three bakery refrigerated tables with either a separate refrigerating unit or an incorporated unit. This solution which prepares for the future was adopted at once in spite of a slight additionnal cost. There was no maintenance contract because the well-equipped installer can act rapidly. According to the latter, it is important to get used to R134a which requires more detailed work and care in supply of equipment and modified tools. J.L.
