Type of article: Article
Summary
A REPORT, WITH COMMENTARY, IS PRESENTED ON THE DECISIONS TAKEN RECENTLY BY THE BUNDESRAT (ONE OF THE TWO HOUSES OF THE GERMAN PARLIAMENT) ON THE RECOMMENDATIONS PRESENTED BY ITS OWN COMMISSIONS AND BY THE GOVERNING COALITION. FOR CFC REFRIGERANTS THE SAME DEADLINES WERE RETAINED, WITH THE STIPULATION < IN CLOSED CIRCUITS > ADDED: END-1991 FOR INSTALLATIONS WITH LARGER THAN 5 KG CAPACITY, END-1993 FOR MOBILE INSTALLATIONS, AND END-1994 FOR INSTALLATIONS WITH LESS THAN 5 KG CAPACITY. R22 WILL BE UNRESTRICTED UNTIL THE YEAR 2000. ACCORDING THE ARTICLE, THERE WAS A LOT OF SUPPORT FOR MAKING THE MEASURES EVEN STRICTER. M. C.
