Refrigerated transport.
Les transports frigorifiques.

Summary
Refrigerated transport is confronted with rapid change and must adapt to new conditions. These changes are due to the retailers who are becoming more important and specialised in their trade. They tend to subcontract logistic elements to specialists for transport, storage, minimum stock-management or even stock reduction to zero. Computerization is important. New factors arising from the European integration will further transform the situation (European cabotage) and only the largest refrigerated transport firms which have succeeded in integrating all these factors, will survive. Change is facilitated by the constant development of quick-frozen food. P.L.
