Summary
A book published by the Indian government, on CFC problems and their eviction, in refrigeration and air conditioning applications. The CFC phase-out programme in India is outlined, along with recovery and recycling problems. The fields where research must be developed are indicated. A test evaluating the overall costs of CFC replacement operations is presented. The book includes annexes, lists of suppliers, market predictions for refrigerants, and manufactured products (for refrigeration applications) up to 2010, a list of Indian specialists in the working group set up for these problems.
