Refrigeration oil for ammonia refrigerant: structure and compatibility.
[In Japanese. / En japonais.]
Author(s) : TAKAHASHI H.
Summary
In order to use ammonia refrigerant with a miscible lubricant, several types of PAG have been proposed as miscible lubricants for ammonia refrigerant. But there has been little discussion about a compatible lubricant for ammonia refrigerant. Therefore, compatibility tests have been performed. Dialkylether PAG seems to be most compatible with ammonia, and secondary alcohol terminal PAG is expected to be the most compatible oil.
