Refrigeration with ammonia: refrigeration distribution with slush ice.
[In German. / En allemand.]
Author(s) : PAUL J., SCHMIDT H. G.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The article presents the advantages of ammonia and of slush, before discussing their use in storage of refrigeration and split/multisplit systems. Big savings are possible if an existing distribution system is used and its performance can be enhanced with ice. In such a case, either liquid chillers can be replaced or their performance raised with a supplementary slush machine.
