Summary

Ice storage systems can be divided into two categories: static and dynamic. Static ice storage systems build ice on the surface of coils, whereas dynamic systems make moveable ice. In Japan, ice storage systems have many ice making methods. Precise measures and features of the methods are presented in the article and possibilities and technical targets are shown with respect to ice/water transportation with the dynamic ice system.
