Summary

Copies (in English or Russian) of the papers presented during this Seminar, held in Minsk, in September 1993. We note: refrigeration industry for agricultural and foodstuff needs in Belarus; development of the alternative ozone safety refrigerants for industrial refrigeration equipment; solid-sorption heat pump for agricultural management; experimental investigation of solid-sorption parameters; the problem of solid and liquid sorption refrigerators and heat pumps utilization in the CIS countries; two-cycle solid-sorption refrigerators and heat pumps, etc. The paper prepared by E. Granryd and A. Melinder, "Secondary refrigerants for indirect refrigeration and heat pump systems", will be abstracted in a future issue of the Bulletin.
