FRENCH REGULATIONS FOR ALL TYPES OF PACKAGING ARE SURVEYED. FOR FROZEN FOODS (DECREE OF OCTOBER 9, 1964 AND DECREES FOR THE ENFORCEMENT OF LAW) THE A. REPORTS THE DATA THAT SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE MENTIONED ON THE PACKAGES OF DEEP-FROZEN AND FROZEN PRODUCTS (FREEZING DATE, BOUNDARY DATE OF OPTIMUM USE, IDENTIFICATION OF THE MANUFACTURE LOT) AND ON THE PACKAGES OF COLD STORED FOODSTUFFS. THE REGULATIONS RELATING TO THE PACKAGING OF CUT MEAT, POULTRY, MILK AND BUTTER ARE PRESENTED. IN CONCLUSION FRENCH REGULATIONS FOR THE PACKAGING OF REFRIGERATED PRODUCTS LAY DOWN THREE REQUIREMENTS: -PACKAGINGS SHOULD NOT CONTAMINATE FOODS WITH ANY TOXIC MATTER; -THEY SHOULD GIVE TO THE CONSUMER USEFUL DATA FOR THE PURCHASE AND THE PREPARATION OF THE FOOD; -THEY SHOULD PROVIDE FOR GOOD PRESERVATION CONDITIONS.
