REPLACING CFC-11 WITH HCFC-22 IN POLYURETHANE FOAM.
Author(s) : CREAZZO J. A., HAMMEL H. S.
Summary
THE PROPERTIES OF R22 ARE EXAMINED IN DETAIL FROMTHE POINT OF VIEW OF ITS UTILIZATION IN THE MANUFACTURING OF POLYURETHANE FOAM. R22 SEEMS PARTICULARLY WELL ADAPTED TO THIS APPLICATION, PROVIDED THE MODIFICATIONS TO BE MADE TO THE MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT ARE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT. FOLLOWING R22, ANOTHER FLUID WILL PROBABLY BE USED, WHICH WILL BE BETTER FROM AN ENVIRONMENTAL POINT OF VIEW. P. L.
