The authors provide a summary of the overall effort in South Korea to replace CFCs, including the subjects: alternatives which have been developed in Korea since 1990, researches on the heat transfer of alternative refrigerants, researches on thermophysical properties of alternative refrigerants, cycle performance simulations of the refrigerating system, and automobiles with new air-conditioning systems using alternatives.
