Summary
Renewable energy resembles a sea snake: we have been talking about it for such a long time and this technology still hasn't secured a significant niche, which makes us start to think that it might be wishful thinking to consider that a breakthrough will occur. However, ongoing resaerch is being performed on renewable energy. Will these efforts allow renewable energy to take off? In this article, the author attempts to answer that question, taking into account recent energy trends, environmental constraints and the economic context.
