Number: pap. n. 201

Author(s) : LIANG Y., LI S.

Summary

In order to investigate the performance of ejector-absorption ammonia-water heat pump cycle at low evaporation temperatures, theoretical analysis and thermodynamic calculation are made to compare the performance coefficient of ejector-absorption cycle with single-stage absorption cycle. Some figures are drawn in this paper to observe the variation trend of performance coefficient at different heat source temperatures and condensing temperatures when evaporation temperature changes from -15°C to -40°C. The results show that the ejector-absorption heat pump cycle has better applicability in low evaporation temperatures comparing with the single-stage absorption cycle. The figures also show that the performance coefficient of ejector-absorption cycle is higher than the conventional single-stage absorption cycle under the same conditions. The increase of performance coefficient in ejector-absorption cycle is up to ten per cent comparing with single-stage absorption cycle.
