Summary

The authors' research laboratory is involved in clarifying the heat and mass transfer mechanism in condensation, evaporation, absorption, adsorption and so on. In this article, the following recent research topics, which are conducted in the laboratory are presented and related future works are pointed out: condensation and evaporation in mini-channels, in-tube boiling of CO2/PAG oil mixture, vapour-liquid flow distribution from header to multi-channels, and the void fraction of vapour-liquid two-phase flow in smooth and microfin tubes.
