Summary
A HEAT PUMP HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY TESTED UNDER CONDITIONS PREVIOUSLY DESCRIBED IN A REPORT FROM THE SWEDISH COUNCIL FOR BUILDING RESEARCH. OPERATING TIME HAS AMOUNTED TO 3,639 H DURING WHICH 26,762 KWH WERE PRODUCED WITH AN AVERAGE COP OF 2.65, REPRESENTING A SAVING OF 16,666 KWH. EXPERIMENTS WITH DIFFERENT FAN SPEEDS HAVE SHOWN THAT BEST RESULTS ARE OBTAINED AT THE SPEED RECOMMENDED BY THE MANUFACTURER. PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS HAVE BEEN CARRIED OUT ON TWO MAKES OF COMPRESSORS.
