Author(s) : LINNETT D. T.

Summary

SEVERAL ALTERNATIVE CYCLES FOR LIQUEFACTION OF NATURAL GAS ARE COMPARED AND THE ADVANTAGES OF THE MIXED REFRIGERANT CASCADE CYCLE (MRC) ARE EXAMINED. THE DEVELOPMENT OF A FLEXIBLE DESIGN APPROACH FOR MRC CYCLES TO MEET SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH PROJECT IS DISCUSSED AND A DESCRIPTION IS GIVEN OF THE USE OF THE MRC CYCLE IN THE WORLD'S FIRST INTEGRATED LNG PEAK SHAVE/ASU FACILITY AT DANDENONG IN AUSTRALIA.
