Summary
The heat pump seems to be given a second chance now that the environment has started to play such an important role in our society. It uses primary energy efficiently and contributes towards reducing the greenhouse effect. One problem may be the fact that the heat pump sector, like the refrigeration industry, uses CFC-containing materials.
