Simplified method for evaluating thermal radiant environment.

Author(s) : PREK M., NOVAK P.

Summary

Angle factors between a human body and rectangular planes are calculated by a numerical model. The present method, which is applied for predicting the thermal radiation field in a space, is based on a numerical integration method. For evaluating the influence of thermal radiant field, a simplified model of a human body was developed. The model was constructed by combining some kinds of cylindrical and rectangular parts to simulate the shape of a real subject.
