Type of article: Article

Summary

THE STUDY IS DEVOTED TO THE MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF AN AMMONIA-WATER ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP ADAPTED TO SOLAR AIR CONDITIONING AND INCLUDING REFRIGERANT AND SOLUTION STORAGES. MATHEMATICAL SIMULATION PERMITS THE PREDICTION OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SYSTEM DURING A 24 HOUR PERIOD AND ALLOWS ONE TO ESTIMATE ITS ENERGY PERFORMANCE, WHICH IS COMPARED WITH THOSE OF SYSTEMS USING WATER-LITHIUM BROMIDE.
