Summary
The authors present new methods for calculating the viscosity of refrigerant-lubricant mixtures based on their extensive experimental measurements of vapour pressures, densities, and viscosities for a series of polyolester lubricants that cover viscosity range from 10 to 220 mm2 per second, practically for all refrigeration compressor applications, with alternative refrigerants R32, R134a, R404A, R407C, R410, and R507.
