Author(s) : SEGGIE N. I.

Summary

AS THE REQUIREMENT OF MEAT TRANSPORT ON LONG DISTANCES TO EMBARKING PORTS HAS BEEN INCREASING, IT HAS BEEN NECESSARY TO ESTABLISH AUTONOMOUS COOLING SYSTEMS (WITH LIQUID NITROGEN OR CO2 ). A SYSTEM HAS BEEN DESIGNED, CRYOFAN, INCLUDING A FAN AND LIQUID NITROGEN SUPPLY, PROVIDING DETERMINED COOLING AND A DEVICE WAS DESIGNED, CONTROLLING TEMPERATURE WITHIN 0.5 K FOR COOLED AND FROZEN FOODS. LIQUID NITROGEN IS SUPPLIED BY TANKS FOR BATCH OPERATION OR BY A BIG TANK FOR DOCKSIDE.
