Summary
A literature review is given. The binary mixtures R152a-R22 and R32-R152a were tested as alternatives to R12 for household refrigerators. Internal spiral flutted tubes were used for heat transfer enhancement of evaporators and condensers of refrigerating equipments. Experimental results revealed that internal spiral flutted tubes are effective with both, but with different optimal fin shapes.
