STABILITY OF AN EVAPORATOR-THERMOSTATIC EXPANSION VALVE REFRIGERANT CONTROL LOOP.
[In Japanese. / En japonais.]
Author(s) : HIGUCHI K.
Type of article: Article
Summary
THE RESPONSES OF A THERMOSTATIC EXPANSION VALVE AND EVAPORATOR HAVE ALREADY BEEN DESCRIBED BY THE LINEAR TRANSFER FUNCTIONS. FROM THESE TRANSFER FUNCTIONS, THE EQUATION DESCRIBING THE STABILITY LIMIT OF THE COMBINED LINEAR FEEDBACK CONTROL SYSTEM OF EXPANSION VALVE AND EVAPORATOR ARE SHOWN BY AN OPEN-LOOP TRANSFER FUNCTION. THE NON LINEAR ELEMENTS OF SATURATION AND HYSTERESIS CAN BE WRITTEN IN TERMS OF A DESCRIBING FUNCTION. THUS THE HUNTING PHENOMENON PRESENT IN THE COMBINED NONLINEAR SYSTEM OF EXPANSION VALVE AND EVAPORATOR CAN BE ELUCIDATED FROM THE POINTS OF INTERSECTION OF FREQUENCY LOCUS AND AMPLITUDE LOCUS.
