This standard supersedes ANSI/ASHRAE Standard 41.4-1996. ASHRAE Standard 41.4 prescribes a method for measuring the proportionof lubricant in liquid refrigerant, using the gravimetric method as the primarymethod. The 2015 edition of the standard includes revisions for compliance with ASHRAE's mandatory language requirements and more clearly specifies test requirements and procedures.
