PRESENTS A MATHEMATICAL MODEL WHICH DESCRIBES THE STEADY STATE OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS OF A BRINE/WATER VAPOUR COMPRESSION HEAT PUMP AS A FUNCTION OF SEVERAL OPERATING PARAMETERS SUCH AS PRESSURE RATIO AND INLET TEMPERATURE OF THE REFRIGERANT FLOW, THE ENERGY SOURCE AND THE HOT WATER FLOW.
