Summary
Peaches were stored in refrigerated air at 0 plus or minus 0.5 °C and in controlled atmosphere (1 kPa O2 and 5 kPa CO2). The results show that controlled-atmosphere storage was capable of reducing woolliness efficiently and also maintained fruit quality for 45 storage days. Under refrigerated air storage, this period was less than 30 days, with significant quality loss.
